My scanner story

I'm not particularly experienced in Photoshop and that probably shows. The title of my scanner story is Techological evolution = Societal devolution?

As technological innoventions continue to develop and become increasingly more mainstream in contemporary society, societal norms and values continue to simplify.  My use of previous innovations such as cassette and VHS tapes, floppy disks, and a classic skipping rope; and their modern counterparts such as CDs, iPods, a USB stick, along with an xBox 360 headset, hopefully illustrates the drastic differences in technology over time. And my use of the measuring tape dividing these inventions through the centre not only serves as a focal point, but also symbolises the increasing obesity and weight issues in current society compared to the past as children recieve less exercise due to their time spent watching TV and playing video games compared to previous generation who only had outside games, such as skipping, as forms of entertainment; and symbolises the decreasing amount of face-to-face communication society has.
